Lafayette Regional Airport (LFT) is the closest airport, just 30 miles northeast of Abbeville. With daily flights from major hubs like Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta, getting here is a breeze. From the airport, it’s an easy 40-minute drive to the heart of Abbeville.
We are also home to the public-use Abbeville Chris Crusta Memorial Airport, just east of the Abbeville central business district. FBO Vector Aviation provides aviation fuel, aircraft parking (ramp or tiedown), GPU / power cart, passenger terminal and lounge, with rental cars delivered.

Abbeville is easily accessible from several major routes across South Louisiana:
- From I-10 (Lafayette): Take Exit 100 (Ambassador Caffery Pkwy) and head south. Continue on LA Hwy. 167 South for approximately 25 miles directly into Abbeville.
- From LA Hwy. 90: Take the LA Hwy. 14 exit at New Iberia and follow it west into Abbeville.
- From LA Hwy. 82: Coming from the coast or taking the scenic route from Texas? Follow LA Hwy. 82 north into Abbeville for a beautiful drive through marshland and small towns.
